vs
SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS

KTTV WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON DODGER ROAD GAME TV BROADCAST
Candlestick Park, San Francisco - May 31, 1972

Due to popular demand, another rare broadcast treasure from the private vault of Rare Sportsfilms has just been restored and released on DVD! The first two full innings of an original Dodger TV broadcast from KTTV is now available for the first time ever on this new 45-minute B & W DVD made directly from the original kinescope! Legendary Dodger announcer Vin Scully calls the play-by-play action, and this DVD shows the opening of the broadcast and the beginning of the game through the end of the second inning of play! This excellent pitching matchup features two outstanding lefthanders, Al Downing (2-2) and Ron Bryant (2-3)! Giants skipper Charlie Fox has been hospitalized with kidney stones and so third base coach John McNamara is managing the Giants for this Memorial Day game. Dodger fans will enjoy going back a generation in time with Vin Scully on KTTV, the television home of Dodger games!
